South Florida Cold Weather November 2024

South Florida is bracing for its coldest weather of the season as temperatures are set to significantly drop through the coming days. According to meteorologists, the region will experience partly cloudy and dry conditions today with highs reaching the mid-70s, but a brisk northwest wind will usher in colder air. By tonight, temperatures are expected to plummet into the 40s.

The National Weather Service has indicated that impact weather will persist from Friday through Sunday, with lows in the 40s and 50s and daytime highs only reaching the upper 60s to lower 70s. «It will remain sunny and clear,» said a weather representative. Residents are advised to prepare for the drop in temperature and to dress accordingly.

Simultaneously, the Gulf Coast is also experiencing the effects of this cold front. The coldest air of the season is anticipated in the region by the weekend, with forecasts predicting morning lows in the 40s and 50s. The morning temperatures on Thursday started in the mid-60s, with expectations of only warming up by five to seven degrees throughout the day despite abundant sunshine.

In Fort Myers, Florida, the weather pattern calls for a noticeable chill with brisk north winds bringing in drier and cooler conditions. Daytime highs on Friday and Saturday are expected to peak around 70 degrees, and the absence of rain is predicted to extend through the weekend and into much of the following week.

A spokesperson for the NBC2 weather team stated, «The humidity will be much lower, enhancing the crisp feel of the air.» Residents are encouraged to stay informed about the latest weather forecasts via local news broadcasts and online resources.
