Dane Swan, a prominent figure in the world of Aussie Rules Football, has been officially inducted into the esteemed Australian Football Hall of Fame, marking a significant milestone in his illustrious career.

Starting off his journey with the Calder Canons, Swan was handpicked at pick 58 in the 2001 National Draft and went on to make a lasting impact during his 15-year tenure with the Collingwood Football Club.

The Brownlow Medallist and recipient of three Copeland Trophies, Swan also boasts five All-Australian accolades, showcasing his prowess as one of the finest midfielders in the history of the sport.

Swan’s association with Collingwood was deeply intertwined with the legacy of coach Mick Malthouse and the devoted Magpie Army, who stood by him through thick and thin.
