Country Music Icon Willie Nelson Misses Outlaw Music Festival Due To Illness

Country music legend Willie Nelson was unable to perform at the Outlaw Music Festival in Georgia on Friday night, citing illness as the reason for his absence.

An announcement on Nelson’s official Instagram page informed fans that the 91-year-old musician was ‘not feeling well’ and had been advised by his doctors to take a four-day rest.

Despite Nelson’s absence, his son Lukas Nelson and the family band took to the stage, delivering a performance filled with classic hits from Willie Nelson’s extensive discography.

The Outlaw Music Festival Tour, which features a lineup of iconic artists including Bob Dylan, Robert Plant, and Alison Krauss, is set to continue without Willie Nelson until his expected return next week.
