Al Nassr secured a victory over Al Khaleej in the King’s Cup of Champions semifinals as Cristiano Ronaldo made a triumphant return to the squad. The match took place at the Al-Awwal Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Ronaldo’s suspension following his red card against Al Hilal last month came to an end, allowing him to feature in the semifinal clash. Al Nassr aimed to better its performance from the previous King’s Cup where it was eliminated at the same stage by Al Wehda.

The reigning champions of the tournament are rivals Al Hilal, who emerged victorious in a penalty shootout against Al Wehda. The match saw Al Nassr take on Al Khaleej in a highly anticipated encounter.

The Al Nassr lineup featured key players such as Ospina, Telles, Laporte, Sultan, Brozovic, Al Khaibari, Otavio, Mane, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Ayman. On the other hand, Al Khaleej fielded Sehic, Al Hamsal, Lopez, Rebocho, Rodrigues, Jung, Hamzi, Narey, Martins, and Sherif.

In a thrilling second half, Al Nassr managed to score two goals with Ronaldo finding the back of the net in the 17th minute and Mane doubling the lead in the 36th minute. Al Khaleej, on the other hand, failed to register any goals during the match.
