The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2024 has officially wrapped up, and candidates can now breathe a sigh of relief as the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the answer key. This announcement was made on July 24, 2024, providing hopeful teachers with a chance to review their performance.

For those looking to access the CTET answer key, it is now available on the official CBSE website at ctet.nic.in. Candidates just need to log in with their details to download the answer key. This valuable resource allows them to compare their responses and raise objections if they find any discrepancies.

If candidates aren’t satisfied with any answer, they can challenge it by paying a fee of ₹1000 per objection. This process is done online, and should a candidate’s objection be validated, they will be awarded marks accordingly.

The CTET exam took place on July 7, 2024, across 136 cities in India, with two shifts scheduled. The first session commenced at 9:30 AM and finished at 12:00 PM, while the second shift ran from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM.

In the exam, a total of 150 questions were posed, each carrying equal weight for a total of 150 marks. It is important to note that there is no negative marking for incorrect answers. To pass, candidates need to score at least 60%.

The provisional answer key has been released for a limited time, and candidates are urged to act promptly if they wish to file objections. After receiving these objections, subject experts will review them, and based on their findings, the final answer key will be prepared.
