Delhi Lok Sabha Election 2024 Results Live Updates: BJP Maintains Lead in All Seats
In the Delhi Lok Sabha elections of 2024, the counting of votes started sharply at 8:00 AM amid tight security arrangements. Each of the seven Lok Sabha seats in the capital is undergoing scrutiny, with the BJP leading on all fronts.
As the counting nears completion in West Delhi, BJP maintains a lead with over 1,32,000 votes. Chandni Chowk has seen a slight decrease in the BJP lead, now standing at nearly 36,000 votes. Meanwhile, in North West Delhi, the BJP has widened its lead to 1,83,000 votes.
The numerical trend continues as the BJP leads in West Delhi with 1,15,205 votes and in North-West Delhi with a substantial 1,41,306 votes. The party is maintaining a steady march towards securing victory in the capital.
Current figures from North-West Delhi show the BJP ahead by 1,32,732 votes, while in West Delhi, the lead is at 1,04,859 votes. However, Chandni Chowk witnesses a narrowing of the BJP’s lead to 28,765 votes.
Incumbent Praveen Khadelwal from the BJP boasts 2,68,394 votes while his Congress counterpart, J.P. Agrawal, has secured 2,33,595 votes. The competition remains fierce as the counting progresses.
With the BJP’s steady advancement across seats, results from New Delhi show BJP candidate Bansuri Swaraj in the lead with a margin of 32,266 votes. Simultaneously, in North-West Delhi, the party commands a lead of 1,19,253 votes promoting a sense of expectancy among supporters.
As the counting unfolds, the BJP maintains an edge on all seven seats in Delhi, promising a decisive outcome. Notably, 2,669 voters opted for the NOTA option, underlining the varied preferences witnessed in the capital.
