Detroit Lions’ Cornerback Carlton Davis Suffers Injury During Week 12 Against Colts
In Week 12 of the NFL season, Detroit Lions cornerback Carlton Davis was injured during the second half of the game against the Indianapolis Colts. The injury took place in the fourth quarter and appeared to involve Davis’ leg in what seemed to be a non-contact situation, according to reports.
While the exact severity of the injury remains undetermined, sources indicate that Davis was seen riding an exercise bike on the sidelines and conversing with a trainer after leaving the field. This development suggests that the injury may not be as serious as initially feared. The Detroit Lions’ official PR team has listed Davis as questionable to return.
«Davis is on the exercise bike after a visit to the medical tent, pedaling slowly while speaking with a trainer,» reported Richard Silva, a sports journalist.
The Lions were already facing challenges with their cornerback lineup after Terrion Arnold was declared inactive for the game and Ennis Rakestraw Jr. was placed on injured reserve the previous Saturday. With Davis’ injury, the team is currently relying on backups Kindle Vildor and Khalil Dorsey.
Brad Galli, a reporter covering the game, noted that Carlton Davis managed to walk off the field under his own power, albeit with a noticeable limp, after clutching his left knee.
