Fans remember that the last time we saw Dexter, he was shot by his son Harrison in the finale of the limited series «Dexter: New Blood.» So, you might be wondering how he’s returning after that shocking ending.

Hall expressed his excitement about returning to the character, saying, «It’s pretty heady. It’s so gratifying.» He’s eager to explore what’s coming next for Dexter and how the story unfolds.

The original «Dexter» series aired from 2006 to 2013, with «Dexter: New Blood» following a decade later in 2021. Chris McCarthy, the co-CEO of Paramount Global, shared his thrill about Hall’s return, stating that the new series will cater to both longtime fans and new viewers.

In addition to «Dexter: Resurrection,» Hall will also lend his voice for the upcoming series «Dexter: Original Sin,» which will introduce a fresh audience to the world of Dexter.
