DHL Express Tops 2024 World’s Best Workplaces List
The Great Place To Work, a respected authority on workplace culture, has unveiled its 2024 list of the World’s Best Workplaces. The ranking is based on contributions from over 7.4 million employees worldwide and an extensive analysis of workplace programs impacting more than 20 million people globally.
This year, the list is led by DHL Express, an eminent name in transportation and logistics, securing the top position. Hotel giant Hilton follows closely, claiming the second spot, while pharmaceutical company AbbVie is placed third. The list captures a diverse range of industries, featuring companies from information technology, professional services, biotechnology, and pharmaceuticals, which together constitute nearly half of the recognized entities.
Among the top 25 companies, in addition to DHL Express, Hilton, and AbbVie, are prominent organizations such as Hilti, Accenture, Teleperformance, Stryker, Cadence, and Salesforce. Other notable names include Agilent Technologies, SC Johnson, MetLife, Experian, and SAP SE.
According to the report, these leading workplaces excel at nurturing a culture where employees feel valued beyond their professional contributions. An impressive 55 percent more employees at these top companies report that their managers care for them beyond their roles compared to typical workplaces. Furthermore, 48 percent more employees argue that leaders at these organizations genuinely embody the company’s values.
Promotions at these esteemed workplaces are perceived to be distributed more equitably, exceeding typical workplace benchmarks by 60 percent. This reflects the commitment of these companies to creating a fair and supportive work environment.
