Drake Bell Masked Singer

This week’s episode of «The Masked Singer» took on a new theme, labeled «Miley Cyrus Night,» in which the contestants from Group C paid tribute to the renowned pop star by singing her hits. This included tracks such as «Used To Be Young,» «Midnight Sky,» «Wrecking Ball,» and «When I Look At You.» The evening kicked off with the contestants uniting for a performance of «Party In The USA,» setting a festive tone for the competition.

The spotlight fell on Ice King, who was ultimately voted out by the audience, marking the end of the road for the enigmatic performer. As the mask was lifted, it was revealed that the Ice King was none other than former Nickelodeon star, Drake Bell. The revelation highlighted Bell’s attempt at reinvigorating his music career in a unique manner.

During a clue segment, Bell expressed that «The Masked Singer» provided him with an opportunity to focus on what he loves most—singing. He stated, «It’s nice to be able to ease my way back into music behind this mask.» Bell has been navigating the public eye following personal controversies, including the recent discussions sparked by his revelations on «Quiet on Set,» an Investigation Discovery docuseries.

Drake Bell’s elimination followed that of Bethany Hamilton, a surfer and writer who was unmasked as Macaron the previous week. As the competition narrows, the coveted Golden Mask remains up for grabs for the remaining contestants.

The show announced that «The Masked Singer» will return for its 13th season in February, sustaining its popularity as a staple of Fox‘s entertainment lineup. For now, audiences can tune in to catch more unmaskings and performances, as the show continues to air on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET.
