Inglewood is buzzing with excitement as music mogul Dr. Dre prepares to launch a brand-new high school academy. This isn’t just any ordinary school—it’s designed to inspire and empower young minds.

Dr. Dre, along with his collaborator Jimmy Iovine, will be at Morningside High School for the big kick-off. The new academy aims to offer a cutting-edge, interdisciplinary curriculum that focuses on training future leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs.

Starting next summer, the program will initially be open to ninth graders. But the plan is to expand it to include students from all grades by the 2028-29 school year, creating a vibrant learning environment for everyone.
