Dua Lipa to Headline Zomato Feeding India Concert in November 2024

Grammy Award-winning singer Dua Lipa has announced her upcoming performance in India, scheduled for November 30, 2024. She will be headlining the second edition of the Zomato Feeding India Concert, which will take place at MMRDA, BKC in Mumbai.

Dua Lipa expressed her excitement about returning to India, emphasizing the special bond she has formed with the country during her recent trips. In a statement, she remarked, ‘My recent trip to India was a beautiful reminder of how much I love this place. The warmth and energy I felt were amazing.’

This concert marks an addition to Dua’s previously announced Asia leg of her Radical Optimism Tour. The tour is set to commence in Singapore on November 5, with subsequent stops in Jakarta, Manila, Tokyo, Taipei, Kuala Lumpur, and Bangkok, concluding in Seoul on December 5.

Dua Lipa last performed in India in 2019 and has since shared her fond memories of her experiences in the country. In late 2023, she spent time in Rajasthan, immersing herself in Indian cuisine, fashion, and spirituality. During this trip, she also visited New Delhi, where she explored prominent landmarks such as Humayun’s Tomb and sought blessings at Gurdwara Bangla Sahib.

The Zomato Feeding India Concert is part of a community-driven initiative aimed at achieving the Sustainable Development Goal of Zero Hunger by 2030. The event seeks to unite artists, philanthropists, and citizens in the fight against hunger and malnutrition in India. Deepinder Goyal, Founder and CEO of Zomato, expressed his enthusiasm for Dua Lipa’s participation in the concert, stating, ‘For the second edition of Zomato Feeding India Concert we have one of my favourite pop music icons, Dua Lipa, and I couldn’t be more excited!’
