Dwayne Johnson and Chris Evans Team Up in Action-Packed Christmas Movie ‘Red One’

Actors Dwayne Johnson and Chris Evans are set to bring some holiday cheer to the big screen in the upcoming action-comedy film ‘Red One.’

The movie, directed by Jake Kasdan, features Johnson as Callum Drift, the head of security at the North Pole, and Evans as Jack O’Malley, a character known for his naughty deeds.

In a twist of events, Santa Claus, portrayed by Wesley Kimmel, goes missing, prompting Drift and O’Malley to team up and embark on a mission to save Christmas.

The star-studded cast also includes Lucy Liu, Kiernan Shipka, Bonnie Hunt, Kristofer Hivju, Nick Kroll, and Wesley Kimmel.

In an intriguing teaser poster released by E.L.F, the North Pole’s security team, a ‘Missing’ announcement for Santa Claus at the North Pole sparks a call for help.

The film was based on a concept by Hiram Garcia and written by Chris Morgan, with executive producers such as Johnson, Kasdan, Dany Garcia and Melvin Mar.

Amazon MGM Studios revealed a preview of ‘Red One’ at CinemaCon, urging attendees not to disclose specific plot details.

Johnson and Evans, both well-known for their action-packed roles, bring their charisma to the movie, with Johnson also set to voice a character in ‘Moana 2‘ and star in ‘The Smashing Machine,’ while Evans has projects like ‘Ghosted’ and ‘Pain Hustlers’ in the pipeline, along with Ethan Coen‘s ‘Honey Don’t!’
