Eff Leaders Opt To Support Julius Malema Over Attending Ramaphosa's Inauguration

The EFF‘s senior leadership has decided to stand in solidarity with Julius Malema rather than attend Cyril Ramaphosa‘s inauguration at the Union Buildings in Pretoria. Malema, along with his co-accused Adriaan Snyman, faces legal proceedings in the East London Magistrate's Court, making their presence at the inauguration impossible.

Malema’s firearm discharge case from the EFF’s fifth birthday celebrations in 2018 brought him to court alongside Snyman on Tuesday. The EFF leadership has chosen to prioritize Malema’s legal battle over aligning with the presidential inauguration.

While Ramaphosa prepares to take the oath of office for his second term as president, Malema and his co-accused will be addressing the court in East London, highlighting the stark contrast in priorities between the two political entities.
