Emma Thynn, Marchioness of Bath, Joins Celebrity MasterChef Amid Meghan Markle Talks

Emma Thynn, the Marchioness of Bath, is set to showcase her culinary skills as a contestant on the new series of Celebrity MasterChef. Known for her mixed-race heritage and Hollywood background, she has previously drawn comparisons to Meghan Markle.

In an interview from 2019, Emma Thynn expressed her hesitance to offer advice to the Duchess of Sussex, despite their parallel paths in life. Both women have made significant strides while navigating their respective careers in the entertainment industry and marrying into British aristocracy. Emma stated, “I would never presume to give anyone advice,” emphasizing that she had “not even met” Meghan Markle.

Emma also reflected on her own career journey, which included attempts to break into the United States acting scene. She described the experience as “tough” and “relentless.” Emma mentioned that she was nearly cast in the popular series Game of Thrones, highlighting her perseverance in an industry filled with challenges.

Residing at Longleat House in Wiltshire with her spouse Ceawlin Thynn, the 8th Marquess of Bath, Emma made history in 2020 by becoming the UK’s first black marchioness.

As she prepares for her debut on Celebrity MasterChef, interest in her past comments about Meghan Markle has resurfaced.
