Enfidha Municipality Seeks Bids For Rain Drainage Covers Replacement

The Enfidha Municipality in Tunisia has announced a call for bids to replace rain drainage covers in the area, in partnership with the U.S. Embassy in Tunis. The project aims to enhance the infrastructure and water management systems in Enfidha.

The service will be carried out under the supervision of the U.S Embassy, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications. Companies interested in bidding for the project are required to submit their proposals to the GSO/Procurement office located at Les Berges du Lac in Tunis.

All bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes marked ‘Quotation Enclosed’ and should include the necessary financial information and product data sheets. The deadline for the submission of bids is April 16th, 2024, at 10:00 am. Late submissions will not be considered for evaluation.

As part of the bidding process, interested parties are encouraged to provide competitive quotes, as the U.S. Embassy will select the technically qualified bidder offering the most competitive price. The Embassy does not guarantee an award based on the submitted bids.

Upon successful bid selection, the U.S. Government intends to issue a Purchase Order to the selected contractor. Payment terms stipulate that invoices must be settled within 30 days of receiving the original invoice along with the necessary banking information.

Contractors interested in bidding for the project must be registered on SAM (System for Award Management) to be eligible for consideration. Those already registered are required to provide their Entity Identity Number, while new registrants should initiate the registration process promptly to avoid delays in the award process.

Additionally, bidders must confirm their compliance with the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) regulations. Non-compliance with NDAA requirements may result in disqualification from the bidding process.
