England’s Euro 2024 Squad Completes Full Training Session Ahead of Opening Match

England‘s national football team, coached by Gareth Southgate, completed a full training session in Jena, Germany, as part of their preparation for the Euro 2024 tournament.

All 26 squad members were present, including Stones who had a scare with a challenge from Jon Dagur Thorsteinsson in a recent friendly match against Iceland.

Shaw, another key player, has been nursing an injury since February but participated in passing drills with the team.

The team’s central defensive pairing is likely to feature Stones alongside Konsa, with Gomez missing out on the final squad selection.

England is set to face Serbia in their Group C opener, followed by matches against Denmark and Slovenia.

The training session took place at Ernst-Abbe-Sportfeld in Jena, where fans witnessed the likes of Bayern Munich‘s striker, , popular among the spectators.

UEFA media activities were part of the team’s schedule, from TikTok videos to interactive goal celebrations, showcasing their off-the-pitch engagement.

The squad, including the recently joined Bellingham who recently moved from Borussia Dortmund to Real Madrid, engaged with young fans and signed autographs post-training.

Heaton, called in as a training goalkeeper, also joined the camp as the team continues their preparations at the luxurious Spa and Golf Resort Weimarer Land in Blankenhain.

With spirits high and the squad united, England looks forward to a competitive start in the upcoming Euro 2024 matches.
