The English Football League (EFL) has put out a ‘Request for Proposal’ inviting interested parties to consider producing, distributing, and marketing a documentary series centered around the 2025/26 or 2026/27 season.

The EFL, which oversees the Championship, League 1, League 2, Carabao Cup, and Bristol Street Motors Trophy, aims for the series to capture the intense competitions and showcase the teams, players, and communities involved, offering global exposure for Member Clubs.

The proposal promises exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the EFL’s dynamic and unpredictable competitions, presenting an opportunity for production partners to tell the diverse narratives of English football and boost global interest in the EFL.

The EFL’s Chief Commercial Officer, Ben Wright, highlighted the unparalleled storytelling potential within the Clubs and competitions, emphasizing the chance to elevate the EFL’s profile on a global scale.

Parties interested in bidding for the project must submit their responses by 5pm on Wednesday, August 28, 2024.
