Estranged Husband of HGTV Star Christina Hall Shares Pictures Amid Divorce Tensions
On November 18, 2024, Hall, the estranged husband of HGTV star Christina Haack, shared a picturesque snapshot on his Instagram Stories, capturing the serene Tennessee sunrise from a farmhouse porch. The image, featuring rolling green hills and an American flag, was accompanied by The Rascals’ song «A Beautiful Morning.»
The social media post emerges amid recent comments from his ex-wife, Christina Haack, regarding the challenges of filming their upcoming HGTV series amidst their separation. Haack, aged 41, expressed to media outlets that working together on set was difficult, citing Hall’s apparent insecurities. «When someone is insecure by you and doesn’t like to watch you win, that really puts a damper on everything,» Haack commented. «I feel like I was not shining as bright, to try to not make him feel emasculated. But who wants to live like that?»
Haack disclosed that the filming experience improved post-separation, describing it as «so much easier and so much better in every way.» She also noted Hall’s departure from the series, although HGTV has yet to officially confirm this development.
Haack also addressed tensions related to her co-parenting dynamic with ex-husband Tarek El Moussa. She suggested Hall was uncomfortable with their interaction, which she described as having a «sibling type of thing.»
The couple’s divorce proceedings prominently feature the multimillion-dollar Tennessee farmhouse owned by Haack, which is the backdrop for her HGTV spinoff «Christina in the Country.» According to a legal agreement obtained by PEOPLE, Hall is permitted to stay at the farmhouse, provided it is not rented, following his relocation from Newport Beach, California.
Hall initiated divorce proceedings on July 15, citing «irreconcilable differences» and requesting spousal support from Haack. However, Haack also filed documents to prevent either party from seeking spousal support shortly after.
