Evangelist Franklin Graham Speaks at Republican National Convention, References Divine Intervention
Evangelist Franklin Graham, son of the late Billy Graham, took center stage at the Republican National Convention, following in the footsteps of former wrestling icon Hulk Hogan.
Graham, a renowned American evangelist and missionary in the evangelical movement, addressed the audience with a smile, highlighting the divine intervention that he believed spared President Donald Trump‘s life. He touched on the transformative power of such experiences.
In a rare political allusion, Graham referenced Trump’s appointment of conservative Supreme Court justices who played a pivotal role in the overturning of Roe v. Wade, a sensitive subject that the convention had largely skirted.
During his speech, Graham led a prayer for the country’s guidance and specifically asked for divine aid for Trump and his running mate, JD Vance. Graham commended Vance for his unwavering stance on defending life.
