A tragic incident unfolded in Pune as CCTV footage captured the moments leading up to a fatal Porsche crash that claimed the lives of two individuals on Sunday morning. The footage revealed a 17-year-old boy behind the wheel of the speeding car, which collided with a motorcycle, resulting in the deaths of Aneesh Awadhiya and Ashwini Koshta.

The alarming video showcases the Porsche racing at a high speed of 150 kmph before colliding with the bike, sparking a frantic response from bystanders to aid the victims. The minor, son of a prominent builder in Pune, was granted bail by a juvenile court but with stringent conditions including community service with the traffic police, psychological assessment, and composing an essay on road safety.

Notably, prior to the tragic accident, surveillance footage from the Cosie bar emerged showing the 17-year-old indulging in alcohol consumption with friends. The teen, just months away from turning 18, was celebrating his Class 12 results at the establishment.

Following the incident, Deputy Commissioner of Police Vijay Kumar Magar confirmed the arrest of the juvenile, who faced charges of reckless driving and endangerment under the Indian Penal Code and the Maharashtra Motor Vehicle Act. Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar emphasized the severity of the crime and urged the court to treat the accused as an adult.

Moreover, the police commissioner highlighted witness testimonies indicating the teenager and his companions were visibly intoxicated at the time of the accident, prompting legal action against the boy’s father and the pub owner for serving alcohol to a minor.
