Medical apparel brand Figs is making waves with its new ‘I Am a Nurse’ campaign, a heartfelt tribute coinciding with Nurses Week. Shifting the focus from celebrities to real-life heroes, the campaign spotlights 11 dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) and their inspiring stories.
The campaign, developed in-house, aims to elevate the unsung heroes of healthcare and bring more recognition to the invaluable work of nurses. From Times Square billboards to a special bell-ringing ceremony at the New York Stock Exchange, Figs is pulling out all the stops to honor these healthcare professionals.
Among the featured nurses are Taniqua M, a passionate travel nurse, Jake G, an advocate for work-life balance in neuro progressive care, and Tawanda S, a geriatric nurse motivated by family ties. Each nurse brings a unique perspective and expertise to the forefront of the campaign.
Not stopping at a flashy campaign, Figs also offers a robust ambassador program designed to support healthcare professionals. This includes free therapy sessions and community events tailored to address the challenges faced by those in the healthcare industry.
Nurses Week, celebrated annually from May 6 to May 12, holds a special significance as it coincides with the birthday of Florence Nightingale, the pioneer of modern nursing. Figs’ ‘I Am a Nurse’ campaign adds a fresh and deeply personal touch to this longstanding tradition of honoring nurses.
