Nigerian high-life sensation, Chinedu Okoli, well-known as Flavour N’abania, bid a final farewell to his father, Benjamin Onyemaechi Okoli, in a heartfelt ceremony. The event was graced by notable celebrities like Peter Obi, Phyno, Cubana Chief Priest, and Odumeje as they gathered in Umunze, Anambra State.

Flavour, through an Instagram post, announced the passing of his father with a poignant video, signaling the commencement of the funeral rites. The singer’s wife, Sandra Okagbue, a former beauty queen, also honored her father-in-law with a touching tribute on Instagram, underlining the significance of his legacy.

The burial ceremony of Flavour’s father, planned to be held in Umunze, Anambra State, was eventually relocated to Enugu State. Cubana Chief Priest, in an Instagram post, indicated that security concerns in Anambra led to the switch in venue. He urged south-easterners to collaborate in addressing the insecurity challenges, emphasizing the need to preserve unity and harmony in the region.

Expressing his concern over the deteriorating security situation, Cubana Chief Priest disclosed that he had to move his business activities from the southeast to Lagos. This development underscores the growing unrest in the area, prompting calls for concerted efforts towards restoring peace and stability.
