Florida Panthers Sign Nick Cousins to One-Year Contract
The Florida Panthers have signed forward Nick Cousins to a one-year contract valued at $800,000.
Cousins, who is 30 years old, had a productive season last year, recording seven goals and 15 points in 69 games with the Panthers.
Furthermore, he contributed an assist in 12 playoff games, helping the Panthers secure their first Stanley Cup in franchise history.
The 5-foot-11 center is coming off a two-year deal worth $2.2 million that he signed with the Panthers in July 2022.
Nick Cousins was drafted 68th overall by the Philadelphia Flyers in 2011 and has since notched 71 goals and a total of 180 points across 592 career games with teams including the Flyers and Panthers.
