Former NFL Kicker Brandon McManus Facing Sexual Assault Allegations from Flight Attendants

Former NFL kicker Brandon McManus is at the center of serious sexual assault allegations brought forth by two flight attendants who served the Jacksonville Jaguars during an overseas flight to London last year. The accusations, detailed in a lawsuit filed in Duval County Circuit Civil Court, name McManus and the Jaguars as defendants.

Referred to in the lawsuit as Jane Doe I and Jane Doe II, the flight attendants claim that McManus engaged in inappropriate behavior, including rubbing and grinding against them during the flight to London. They assert that the Jaguars failed to adequately supervise McManus, creating an unsafe work environment for their staff.

The lawsuit, seeking over $1 million in damages and calling for a jury trial, sheds light on events that occurred during the Jaguars’ trip to London back in late September 2023. The team, conducting back-to-back international games, flew with Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings for their fixtures.

Jane Doe I alleges that McManus made unwelcome advances, including attempts to kiss her during turbulence and persistently grinding against her while she served meals on the flight. Jane Doe II, on the other hand, claims that McManus similarly acted inappropriately towards her, affecting her emotionally and mentally.

Having entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent from Temple, McManus spent nine seasons with the Denver Broncos before joining the Jaguars in 2023. Following the controversy, the Jaguars did not renew his contract, and he later signed with the Washington Commanders in March 2024.

The Washington Commanders, upon learning of the allegations, issued a statement indicating that they are taking the matter seriously and are actively investigating. The involvement of Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings, the charter service provider for the Jaguars’ flight, adds a layer of complexity to the legal proceedings.
