Former NFL quarterback Vince Young, known for his time with the Tennessee Titans and Philadelphia Eagles, was recently involved in a bar altercation in his hometown of Houston.

The incident, captured on surveillance footage obtained by TMZ and reported by Michael J. Babcock, showed Young caught in the midst of a physical dispute that escalated quickly.

Young, a standout from the University of Texas where he led the Longhorns to a national championship victory in the Rose Bowl against USC, was seen being sucker-punched and knocked to the ground during the altercation.

Authorities from the Houston Police Department were called to the scene by the bar owner, who mentioned that the scuffle may have started over a conversation about race.

Although the owner claimed to have been hit by a drink and an elbow during the altercation, he ultimately decided against pressing charges, and no arrests were made as a result of the incident.
