Former Philadelphia Eagles center, Jason Kelce, has officially signed on as a member of ESPN‘s ‘Monday Night Countdown’ team for the upcoming NFL season.
The announcement was made during a presentation to advertisers in New York, marking Kelce’s transition from player to analyst.
Kelce’s multiyear agreement with ESPN will also feature his involvement in the network’s Super Bowl week coverage, solidifying his role in the media landscape.
Replacing Robert Griffin III on the ‘Monday Night Countdown’ team, Kelce joins host Scott Van Pelt along with analysts Marcus Spears and Ryan Clark for the pregame show.
The regular-season opener for ‘Monday Night Football’ will feature the San Francisco 49ers hosting the New York Jets, setting the stage for Kelce’s debut on the ESPN platform.
