Former President Trump to Wrap Up RNC, High-Profile Speakers Expected on Final Day
The Republican National Convention (RNC) wraps up its four-day event in Milwaukee, with a highly anticipated speech by Former President Donald Trump set to be the highlight of the night. Trump, who will officially secure his presidential nomination, is expected to deliver his speech at Fiserv Forum under the theme ‘Make America Great Once Again’.
Country star Jason Aldean has been lined up to close out the convention with a performance at the Potawatomi Casino Hotel. High-profile speakers such as Diane Hendricks, the co-founder of ABC Supply, and family members of victims, including Samuel Sharpe Jr. and D’Vontaye Mitchell, are also expected to take the stage.
Meanwhile, protests at designated areas like Haymarket Square remained subdued compared to earlier days. Demonstrations and calls for unity were echoed by Milwaukee Mayor Cavalier Johnson, who is gearing up for the upcoming Democratic National Convention in Chicago.
During the convention, security remained a top priority, with incidents near the convention leading to seven arrests overnight. However, additional people showing interest in speaking at podiums and an uptick in interest in the official convention watch party at Drink Wisconsinbly Pub were noted.
As the Republican National Convention comes to a close, the focus now shifts to the upcoming Democratic event and the continued political landscape leading into the upcoming election season.
