Ex-Strictly star Kristina Rihanoff has shared her perspective on the current scandal surrounding the popular TV show and former dancer Graziano Di Prima. Rihanoff, known for her time on Strictly, discussed the issue during an interview with Lorraine Kelly.

The situation unfolded after Graziano Di Prima was let go from Strictly following allegations of unprofessional behavior toward his celebrity partner, later revealed to be Chris McDermott, a former Love Island contestant.

Rihanoff, who appeared on Strictly from 2008 to 2015 and also had a stint on Celebrity Big Brother in 2016, emphasized the importance of having proper supervision and support during rehearsals, pointing out the need for a production team member to be present at all times.

In response to the controversy, the BBC has implemented new measures, including having dedicated welfare support roles for both celebrities and professional dancers on the show.

The issues surrounding Graziano Di Prima and Chris McDermott come in the wake of similar reports involving another Strictly professional, Giovanni Pernice, who faced allegations from actress Amanda Abbington. Pernice denied any inappropriate behavior, and investigations by the BBC are ongoing in both cases.
