Fourth ‘Descendants’ Movie Welcomes New Cast for Auradon Adventures

The fourth installment of the beloved ‘Descendants’ movie series, titled ‘Descendants: The Rise of Red,’ has now started streaming on the popular platform Disney+.

This new movie introduces a fresh cast of characters at Auradon Prep, with principal Uma, played by China Anne McClain, leading the charge in welcoming students from every kingdom, including Wonderland.

Familiar faces like Mal, Ben, Evie, and Jay are noticeably absent in this installment, with Uma explaining that Mal and Ben are off on a journey to establish peace with more kingdoms, a task that also involves Evie and Jay.

The absence of the original VKs is addressed in a poignant manner, with Uma honoring Carlos, played by the late Cameron Boyce, in her office and urging Fairy Godmother to support the inclusion of Wonderland residents as a tribute to him.

The narrative of ‘Descendants: The Rise of Red’ delves into the journey of the new generation of VKs as they navigate their identities and roles within the school and the broader world.
