Georgia Mother Sentenced to Life for the Murder of Her Two Sons

Williams, aged 24 at the time of her arrest in October 2017, had initially alerted the authorities claiming she found her sons deceased upon returning home, allegedly having left them under the care of a babysitter for the day. Officers arriving at the scene found the bodies of Ja’Karter Penn, aged one, and Ke’Yaunte Penn, aged two, both bearing severe burn injuries, a discovery that led to the unraveling of Williams’ narrative.

Investigations revealed that, contrary to her statements, Williams had placed the children in an oven, where they were exposed to prolonged heat.
