Ghana‘s Minister of Sanitation & Water Resources, Lydia Seyram Alhassan, and the Minister of Works & Housing, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, are set to deliver keynote speeches at the upcoming Water Africa and West Africa Building & Construction 2024 event in Accra.

The event, taking place at the Accra International Conference, will see the participation of esteemed guests, including the Ministers touring the exhibition to engage with delegates and exhibitors, showcasing innovative water and construction solutions.

The three-day event, featuring a seminar and workshop programme alongside the exhibition, is free to attend for all interested individuals.

Colin Shaw, the Director of ACE Event Management, expressed his delight in welcoming the Ministers to the event, emphasizing the critical role of water, sanitation, and housing in achieving sustainable development goals both in Ghana and across Africa.

The seminar programme on the first day will focus on water and sanitation, discussing topics such as investment opportunities, climate resilience initiatives, flood management, pollution reduction, and water quality improvements, among others. The day will be chaired by Steve Anoff Amoaning-Yankson, the Managing Director of Municipal Development Collaboration.
