Good Things Festival Returns for 2024 with Iconic Headliners
The Good Things Festival is set to make its highly anticipated return to the East Coast of Australia this December. The festival, known for its focus on rock, punk, metal, and emo genres, promises an exciting line-up featuring major acts from various eras of music.
Headlining this year’s festival is the iconic band Korn, who will be performing in Australia for the first time since 2018. Their appearance coincides with the 30th anniversary of their debut album, and fans can expect a blend of classic hits and newer material during their performance.
Another major act, Sum 41, is currently on a global farewell tour titled ‘Tour of the Setting Sum.’ The Canadian pop-punk group will make their final Australian appearance at this festival, marking an end to their incredible journey in the music scene.
The festival will also feature the indie rock group Violent Femmes, who are celebrated for their eclectic mix of folk, rock, and punk sounds. Attendees can look forward to performing popular songs such as ‘Blister In The Sun’ in a lively atmosphere.
German band Electric Callboy will bring a refreshing take on music, combining elements of pop and techno-metal in their performances. Their high-energy live shows have gained them a dedicated following and will surely impress fans at the festival.
Additionally, Billy Corgan, the frontman of Smashing Pumpkins, will share the stage with The Delta Riggs, presenting selections from both his solo work and the Smashing Pumpkins catalog.
Metal enthusiasts can look forward to performances from distinguished groups such as Mastodon and Kerry King, both recognized for their contributions to the metal genre. Australian metalcore bands like Northlane will also be part of the diverse lineup.
The festival will take place across three locations: Flemington Racecourse in Melbourne on December 6, Centennial Park in Sydney on December 7, and Brisbane Showgrounds in Brisbane on December 8. The festival welcomes younger fans, with a minimum age requirement of 15 in Melbourne and Brisbane, and 16 in Sydney.
