GOODLIFE FITNESS SIGNS AS OFFICIAL SPONSOR FOR CANADA’S FIRST HYROX INDOOR FITNESS RACE

GoodLife Fitness, Canada‘s largest fitness club chain, has officially signed on as the title sponsor for the first-ever HYROX indoor fitness race in Canada.

The event is set to take place on October 5 and 6, 2024, at the Enercare Centre in Toronto‘s Exhibition Place.

The partnership with GoodLife Fitness expands the race’s capacity to accommodate 9,000 competitors and over 10,000 spectators. This move follows the event’s initial sell-out and high demand for participation.

Douglas Gremmen, the managing director of HYROX USA & Canada, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration with GoodLife Fitness, highlighting their shared commitment to promoting a fit and healthy lifestyle.

As part of the sponsorship, GoodLife Fitness will offer special access to the HYROX Toronto events for its members and employees, providing a dedicated member lounge and promotional programs.

GoodLife Fitness will also support athlete communications, pre-race check-in procedures, event rankings, individual results, and finisher certificates.

The HYROX format combines running and functional workout stations, with participants alternating between a 1km run and a functional workout station eight times throughout the race.

A globally recognized event, HYROX hosts races around the world, enabling athletes to compete on a global leaderboard and culminating in a World Championships at the end of each season.

Tickets for HYROX Toronto go on sale on June 29 at 8 a.m. EST, with different pricing options for singles, doubles, and relay teams.
