Unlike its predecessor, GTA 6 is modern-day, departing from the 1986 era of Vice City’s earlier version. The game is poised to introduce players to a vast in-game state called Leonida, resembling Florida, permitting exploration of a larger map and varied landscapes.

The central protagonist in GTA 6, Lucia, represents the franchise’s first female lead character. Little is known about her role, as the trailer hints at her engaging in illicit activities, dressed in prison attire. Additionally, an unnamed male character is shown, potentially Lucia’s boyfriend and co-protagonist.

While the trailer did not showcase gameplay footage, the game is expected to feature classic GTA elements such as running, driving, flying, shooting, and interacting with NPCs in an expansive open-world environment.
