Green Bay Packers Face Tough Test Against San Francisco 49ers’ Strong Pass Defense
Romeo Doubs and the Green Bay Packers are set to face off against one of the NFL’s top passing defenses, the San Francisco 49ers, in Week 12. The match-up is scheduled for Sunday at 4:25 PM ET, where Doubs will be challenged by a unit ranked as the eighth-best in pass defense this season.
So far this season, Doubs has managed to secure 31 receptions, accumulating 429 yards and two touchdowns. The receiver has been a key target for the Packers’ passing game, being targeted 47 times and averaging 47.7 receiving yards per game.
Throughout the season, Doubs’ performance has been variable. In Week 11 against the Chicago Bears, he was targeted twice, catching one pass for 17 yards without scoring a touchdown. In contrast, his standout game came in Week 7 against the Houston Texans, where he was targeted ten times, catching eight passes for a total of 94 yards.
As the Green Bay Packers prepare to contend with the formidable San Francisco defense, much attention will be on Doubs and his ability to navigate through their stringent pass coverage.
