GWM Unveils New Products at NAMPO Agricultural Show
Chinese motor vehicle manufacturer Great Wall Motors (GWM) is set to showcase its latest products at the prestigious NAMPO agricultural show in Bothaville, South Africa. The event, which draws around 50,000 farmers from across the country and beyond, will serve as the perfect platform for the unveiling of the new GWM P500 bakkie, TANK 500, and Jolion SUV.
This year, all GWM brands, including P-Series, HAVAL, TANK, and ORA, will be presented under the unified GWM umbrella for the first time at NAMPO. The show will mark the debut of the new models in South Africa and highlight the integration of all GWM offerings under one brand.
GWM South Africa’s Chief Operations Officer, Conrad Groenewald, expressed the company’s excitement about showcasing the new products at NAMPO. The P500 bakkie, with options for turbodiesel or petrol hybrid power and innovative features, is expected to make a significant impact in the local market.
Joining the lineup is the TANK 500 Luxury SUV, offering seven-seater capacity, hybrid power, a new 9-speed automatic transmission, and all-wheel drive. GWM’s focus on advanced technology and performance is evident in this latest addition.
The Jolion SUV, noted for its stylish design and hybrid advantage, is another standout model that will be unveiled at NAMPO. Carina van der Merwe, the HAVAL and ORA Brand Manager, emphasized the Jolion’s appeal to farmers and the unique features it brings to the market.
In addition to the new releases, GWM will also showcase its existing P-Series bakkie range, the recently launched TANK 300 SUV, and the affordable all-electric ORA 03 at NAMPO. The company aims to provide farmers and visitors with an exclusive look at its latest offerings and engage with its loyal customer base.
