Meet Henrik Christiansen, a Norwegian swimmer making waves at the Olympics for something a little sweeter than medals – chocolate muffins! Since arriving in Paris for the games, Henrik has taken to TikTok to showcase his newfound obsession, declaring himself the «Olympic muffin man.»

His love affair with the muffins began with a glowing review where he rated them an impressive 11 out of 10. In one video, he excitedly describes the muffin as «insane,» and it’s clear he’s found something special in the Olympic Village.

Henrik isn’t the only one enjoying these treats. Fellow athlete Stephen Nedoroscik, a star from Team USA, has jumped on the muffin bandwagon too, praising the chocolatey filling inside. The muffins have quickly become a sensation among the athletes.

French catering company Coup de Pates, responsible for the delicious muffins, has received a lot of love from fans thanks to Henrik’s videos, and they even shared that they didn’t expect their creations to cause such a stir. They hinted that the muffin recipe is a secret crafted by their talented chefs.

As a distance swimmer, Henrik has quite the appetite, usually consuming up to 7,000 calories a day during training. However, with all the excitement of the Olympics, he admits his daily consumption drops to around 4,000 calories – which still leaves room for a few muffins.

While he hasn’t counted exactly how many muffins he’s eaten, Henrik humorously claims he’s showcased more muffins than he’s actually consumed. His light-hearted approach has charmed fans worldwide, turning his muffin habit into a feel-good story of the Olympics.
