A devastating fire has ravaged the iconic St. Anne’s Anglican Church in Toronto, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. The Most Rev. Francis Leo, Metropolitan Archbishop of Toronto, expressed his condolences and solidarity with the Anglican Diocese of Toronto and the affected community.
St. Anne’s Rector Fr. Don Beyers lamented the loss of the historic church, a place of worship and refuge for over a century. The blaze not only consumed the physical structure but also annihilated precious artifacts and paintings housed within its walls.
