History and Experience Museums in Turkey Offer Special Discounts During Museums Week
The Culture and Tourism Ministry has announced that the Hagia Sophia History and Experience and the Ephesus Experience Museums in Turkey are offering a special 50% discount to visitors during the Museums Week celebration until May 26.
The Hagia Sophia History and Experience Museum showcases 204 historical artifacts with advanced visual and audio technologies, providing a unique journey through the history of the Hagia Sophia Mosque, its architectural significance, and a collection of rare icons, church items, and Islamic artifacts.
The museum, located in Sultanahmet Square, features works such as the bronze medallion by the Fossatis that covers the faces of the Seraphim angels in Hagia Sophia.
The Ephesus Experience Museum, situated in Izmir’s Selcuk district, offers an immersive experience of ancient Ephesus, one of history’s prominent trade centers, with interactive audio and visual displays developed by DEM Museology.
Visitors can explore the rich history and daily life of ancient Ephesus in a captivating way at the Ephesus Experience Museum, which is open seven days a week and included in the Night Museology project for nighttime visits.
