IAS Officer’s Father Defends Her Amid Controversy Over Transfer in Pune
Dilip Khedkar, father of Probationary IAS officer Puja Khedkar, has come forward to defend his daughter against the allegations surrounding her recent transfer from Pune.
In an exclusive interview with India Today TV, Dilip Khedkar refuted the accusations of misuse of power and argued that his daughter, a 2023-batch IAS officer of the Maharashtra cadre, is facing unwarranted harassment.
Amid claims that Puja had requested a separate office, car, and accommodation before joining as Assistant Collector in Pune, Dilip Khedkar maintained that seeking a space to work is not a wrongdoing. He emphasized that the matter is under scrutiny, and a committee has been appointed to investigate the situation.
Regarding the ongoing legal proceedings, Dilip Khedkar declined to name the individual he alleged to be orchestrating the controversy, stating that they would present their case to the committee in due course.
