Idris Elba Stars in New Knuckles TV Series Spinoff from Sonic the Hedgehog Franchise

Actor Idris Elba takes on the lead role in the new spinoff TV series ‘Knuckles,’ based on the popular Sonic the Hedgehog franchise.

The show, set to air exclusively on Paramount Plus, focuses on the adventures of the character Knuckles, played by Idris Elba, as he trains deputy sheriff Wade Whipple, portrayed by Adam Pally, in the ways of the Echidna warriors.

Joining Elba in the cast are Tika Sumpter, Stockard Channing, Kid Cudi, Edi Patterson, Ellie Taylor, Rory McCann, and Cary Elwes, among others.

Paramount Plus subscribers in the US and Canada can catch all six episodes of ‘Knuckles’ starting April 26, while viewers in other regions, including the UK and Australia, will have access to the series shortly afterward.
