Independent MLA Rakesh Daultabad from Badshahpur constituency in Gurugram passed away after suffering a sudden heart attack on Saturday morning. He was rushed to the Colombian Hospital in Palam Vihar around 10 AM when he started feeling unwell.

Rakesh Daultabad, who contested as an independent candidate from Badshahpur assembly segment, had faced defeat in two consecutive elections before winning the third time against Manish Yadav of the BJP. Daultabad served as the Chairman of the Haryana House Building Corporation and had a strong support base.

Upon hearing the news of his demise, Lok Sabha candidate Rahul Fazilpuriya and BJP leader Mukesh Pahlwan rushed to the hospital to pay their respects. Daultabad’s sudden death has left a void in Haryana’s political landscape.

His unexpected passing has shocked the locals and political fraternity. His untimely demise comes at a critical juncture in the political scenario of Haryana, creating a somber atmosphere.
