The wait is almost over for candidates who applied for the India Post GDS recruitment 2024. The results, along with the merit list, will be released very soon. Aspiring candidates can check their results on the official India Post website at indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.

This recruitment drive is filling over 44,228 positions for Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS), Branch Post Masters (BPM), and Assistant Branch Post Masters (ABPM) across 23 circles in the country. Candidates were invited to apply from July 15 to August 5, and only those who have passed their 10th grade can participate.

The merit list will not be determined through any examination but will be based on the marks obtained in the 10th standard. Candidates should keep an eye on the official website for updates regarding the release date of the merit list.

Once the merit list is published, candidates will be required to undergo a document verification process. It’s essential for all applicants to stay informed about the latest announcements regarding the verification dates.

Regarding salary, the selected GDS, BPM, and ABPM will receive a monthly pay ranging from ₹12,000 to ₹16,000 based on their roles and locations. In addition to the salary, they may also receive benefits in line with government regulations.
