India Post Gds Announcement

The first merit list for Gramik Dak Sevak (GDS) recruitment in 2024 has just been released by India Post!

If you took part in this recruitment process, you can check the merit lists on their official website, indiapostgdsonline.gov.in. The results are shared circle-wise, which means they’ve listed the names of selected candidates based on their registration numbers.

To give you an idea of how this process works, the merit list was created using the marks that candidates achieved in their Class 10 board exams. So, if you’re on this list, congratulations! You’ll soon need to prepare for the next step, which includes physical verification of your documents.

Currently, the merit lists are out for 12 different postal circles, including states like Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Delhi, and Tamil Nadu. If your circle isn’t mentioned, don’t worry – the remaining circle results will be announced soon.

If you’ve made it to the merit list, you’ll need to get your documents verified by the Divisional Heads by September 3, 2024. Make sure to take your original documents along with two sets of self-attested photocopies!

For those who may not know, India Post aims to fill a whopping 44,228 GDS positions through this recruitment process, which is quite significant. The entire selection is based solely on the marks obtained in the Class 10 exams, and there are no interviews or written tests involved!

If you’re looking to check your results, simply follow these steps: visit the India Post GDS recruitment portal, choose your circle, and download the merit list to see if your name is listed.
