India’s Women’s Archery Team Shines in Olympic Ranking Round
The excitement is building as India‘s women’s archery team made a strong start at the 2024 Olympics in Paris. They have clinched a spot in the quarter-finals of the team event by securing a top four position in the ranking round.
All three archers, Ankita Bhakat, Bhajan Kaur, and Deepika Kumari, performed impressively, finishing in the top 32. Ankita led the pack, finishing 11th with a solid score of 666. Meanwhile, Bhajan, making her Olympic debut, came in at 22nd with a score of 659, closely followed by Deepika, who scored 658 points for a 23rd place finish.
The individual ranking rounds kicked off India’s Olympic journey just a day before the much-awaited opening ceremony of the Paris Games. It’s a promising start for the Indian team, and fans are eager to see how they will perform in the upcoming events.
