Indian Cricketer Kedar Jadhav Retires from All Forms of Cricket
Indian cricketer Kedar Jadhav, known for his dynamic batting and off-spin skills, officially announced his retirement from all forms of cricket on Monday.
Jadhav, who made his ODI debut for India against Sri Lanka in 2014, and T20I debut against Zimbabwe in 2015, has had a remarkable career spanning domestic and international cricket.
Representing Maharashtra in First-Class cricket, he showcased his prowess in 87 matches, accumulating 6100 runs with 17 centuries and 23 fifties.
During his time donning the Indian jersey, Jadhav amassed 1389 runs at an impressive average of 42.09, including two centuries and six half-centuries.
His versatile skills were evident as he also contributed with his off-spin, claiming 27 ODI wickets for India.
Throughout his career, Jadhav donned the colors of various IPL franchises including Delhi Daredevils, Chennai Super Kings, Kochi Tuskers Kerala, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Royal Challengers Bengaluru, amassing 1196 runs in 93 matches.
Having been part of the 2019 World Cup squad, Jadhav’s retirement marks the end of an era for the talented all-rounder.
The 39-year-old’s contribution to Maharashtra cricket, alongside his significant presence in the Indian cricketing scene, will be remembered by fans and peers alike.
