Innovative Gourmet Cookbook for Dogs and Humans Takes the Culinary World by Storm
Deborah Davis, a veteran movie producer, has embarked on a groundbreaking venture that is reshaping the culinary world for both dogs and humans. Her creation, ‘Bellissima’s Chicken Risotto,’ was just the beginning of her innovative gourmet dog-friendly recipes.
After the success of her initial dog dish, Davis’s journey led her to develop ‘The Art of Canine Cuisine,’ a visually stunning cookbook featuring vet-approved recipes inspired by six international cuisines. Alongside her team, Davis aimed to create a masterpiece that could be cherished both in the kitchen and on display in homes or luxury properties.
This extraordinary cookbook, published under Davis’s own imprint, Emerald Star Books, has quickly gained recognition in upscale establishments such as The Beverly Hills Hotel, Auberge du Soleil Hotel Group, and Barkingham in Palm Desert. Additionally, it has made waves in Europe, being featured in special events by Contessa Consulting in Italy.
The latest collaboration with Chef Diego Sobrino at Bishop’s Lodge in Santa Fe, Mexico, brings the gourmet recipes from ‘The Art of Canine Cuisine’ to life on the in-room dining menu. Chef Sobrino, known for his love of animals and culinary expertise, has found joy in creating dishes like Carne Asada inspired by Davis’s book.
Embracing a philanthropic approach, Davis also supports dog rescue organizations through her charitable fund, Scarlett’s Hope. A portion of the proceeds from her book and culinary services goes to various dog support charities, fulfilling her mission to make a difference in the lives of our four-legged companions.
