JEE Main 2024 Session 2 Result: 56 Candidates Secure 100 NTA Score
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the results for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2024 session 2. Candidates who appeared for the JEE Main in April can now access their scores on the official website jeemain.nta.ac.in.
This year, the JEE Main results have shown an increasing number of top scorers, with a total of 56 candidates achieving a perfect 100 NTA score in Paper 1 (BE/BTech). Notably, among these high achievers are two female candidates, Sanvi Jain from Karnataka and Shayna Sinha.
In the previous year’s examinations, a similar trend was observed, with 43 candidates securing the 100 percentile score. The record of female candidates excelling in the JEE Main continues this year, reflecting a positive shift in gender representation.
State-wise data reveal that Telangana has once again dominated the list of 100 percentilers, with 15 students achieving the perfect score. Following closely behind are Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh, each boasting 7 students with flawless performances. Delhi NCR and Rajasthan have also seen an increase in the number of top scorers compared to the previous year.
The JEE Main results further indicate that certain states, such as Kerala, Uttarakhand, Assam, and Jharkhand, have not produced any students with a 100 percentile score this year despite having top performers in the past.
For candidates aspiring to qualify for the JEE (Advanced) examination, the cut-off scores have witnessed a slight increase across different categories. General category candidates now require a score of 93.23 for eligibility, up from 90.77 in the previous year.
The achievements of the candidates in the JEE Main 2024 session 2 reflect their dedication and hard work in preparing for one of the most competitive entrance exams in the country.
