The filming took place at Lake Simcoe and Innisfil Beach Park on June 11, where Krasinski was the main focus of the production.

In an email statement on July 10, Laura Crochetiere, the senior communications manager at Rogers, confirmed that the advertisement was part of the telecommunication company’s new campaign. The video features Krasinski lip-syncing and dancing to Taylor Swift’s ‘Shake It Off (Taylor's Version)’ while enjoying music streaming on the lake. The commercial highlights the reliability and capabilities of the Rogers 5G network.

The choice of the Taylor Swift song was intentional, as Rogers is the presenting sponsor of Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour, scheduled to visit Toronto and Vancouver in the fall. The advertisement aims to showcase Rogers’ role as a leading communications and entertainment company, offering Canadians the best experiences in connectivity and entertainment.

The advertisement, developed by Publicis, is part of Rogers’ new brand platform which emphasizes the company’s investments in improving communication and entertainment experiences for Canadians. The marketing campaign includes high-impact ads on billboards, transit systems, airports, and online platforms.
